For the Kiwi ICT industry, awards season has arrived as a total of 65 finalists prepare to battle it out in 19 awards, across seven segments for one prize - the 2015 Microsoft New Zealand Partner Award.

With the awards ceremony set for tonight, to be held at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland, each day has featured a full rundown of the competing finalists, in order of categories, offering potential insight into who will claim the coveted awards on March 19.

Segment Awards

Education - Finalists

Cyclone

Cyclone Computers was established in 1988 and provides IT hardware, software and support to some of New Zealand’s largest organisations.

With primarily an education focus, customers include some of the largest IT users in New Zealand including Auckland University of Technology, Unitec, University of Canterbury, Manukau Institute of Technology, Lincoln University, University of Otago, Waikato Institute of Technology and Eastern Institute of Technology.

New Era IT

New Era IT provides an ICT service to schools that enhances and integrates the delivery of ICT in the curriculum, giving students and teachers the knowledge and skills they need to be active players in the 21st Century.

The company works solely within the education market with a number of senior personnel coming from a background in teaching and through its nationwide channel, New Era IT currently service over 900 schools in New Zealand.

Pcmedia

Pcmedia provides clients with cost effective straightforward IT solutions, combing IT hardware with Cloud computing and work across all the major brands.

After starting in a garage selling floppy disks in 1993, over the last twenty years the company has grown into a modern ICT firm offering support and services to corporate, small business and home users, and was made a Microsoft Platinum Partner in 2013 after taking more business to the Cloud than any other IT business in New Zealand.
