A year after the launch of its radical, new Jemini HR software, Fusion5 is reporting some significant customer wins.

The Fusion5 website cites Toyota NZ and law firm Anthony Harper as early Jemini customers, but several more have since come on board, executive director Chris Radley told Reseller News.

"Things are going well, the market is really starting to understand what we are doing and the philosophies we are promoting," he said.

"The well-being of staff, the way employees engage are hot topics at the moment."

Some key new customers secured over the past six months include Port of Tauranga, Silver Fern Farms and Proactive for Heath.

"These customers are in different industries, but are all leaders in their space and have a real focus on people and their development," Radley said.

"Whilst Jemini is adding slightly different value in each, things like how artificial intelligence will become part of their culture is an interesting prospect."

Best known as a NetSuite and Oracle specialist, Fusion5 unveiled Jemini, which sports social features and an optional touch screen interface, last May. The company is also a Microsoft partner.

Radley said at the time that payroll and human resource solutions were defined by thinking from the 70s and 80s, with many based on batch processing and forms.

Jemini, he said, was a complete end-to-end HR system that changed the payroll process and the HR value proposition, through managing the whole person and the corporate talent base while providing high levels of insight and analysis.

Jemini also offers community support, bite-sized training, and intelligent dashboards and metric bars to provide information for decision makers without the need to run reports.

Radley told Reseller News today that Fusion5's pre-sales "discovery and advisory process" was also challenging the customer, their processes, and promoting significant improvements as well as giving them a clear path for change, he said.

Customers were looking to Jemini for a single platform and experience, he said.

"They are looking to roll in most cases four or more SaaS solutions into one Jemini solution.

"There appears to be real direction happening here versus customers looking to buy more SaaS products to solve problems and add benefit."

Fusion5 already has a customer base in HR and payroll through historical acquisitions, including two applications from Jade Software, EmpowerHR and Jade Star, and another called MyWorkplace.
