Auckland-based Umbrellar has been recognised as the New Zealand Partner of the Year by Microsoft as part of the software giant's 2019 global awards.
The annual award recognises Microsoft partners who demonstrated excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology. This year, the vendor received more than 3,000 submissions from partners in 115 countries across 41 categories.
"We’re delighted very humbled to be named Microsoft’s Country Partner of the Year. Umbrellar prides itself on providing the best combination of global products and local support and strategic vision and this award shows we’re on the right track,” Umbrellar head of cloud Dave Howden said.
Winners and finalists will be formally presented with the awards during Microsoft Inspire, which will take place in Las Vegas, us, in July.

They have brought a different value proposition to market that is transforming customers; they are an exciting partner to watch,” Sarah Bowden, Microsoft NZ director of commercial and partner business, said.
