The Ministry of Education is creating a panel of suppliers to provide Salesforce solutions and services to the Ministry and the sector.

To be considered, suppliers must have proven experience in delivering CRM, case management and business process management solutions and services and the capability to meet certain prerequisite conditions.

In a tender document, the ministry said it was looking for providers, large or small, who have the capability, experience and technology product to deliver support and solutions for the Ministry on a Salesforce platform that is used by the wider sector.

That sector includes the Ministry of Education, the Teaching Council, Education New Zealand, Education Payroll Limited (EPL), the Education Review Office (ERO), Network for Learning Limited (N4L), Te Kura (The Correspondence School), the New Zealand Qualifications  Authority (NZQA) and the Tertiary Education Committee.

The ministry seeks responses from suppliers able to demonstrate an understanding of the New Zealand Government, the Education Sector and independent agencies, and a customer relationship and service delivery model that supports successful outcomes.

The selected supplier must be able to provide resources with the project team in Wellington.

The ministry expects the contract will end August 2022. Options to extend are: three years initial term with two options to extend for two years.

After three years and five years the panel may be opened for new members.

Local Salesforce platinum partner Davanti Consulting, which has worked with the ministry, last week announced it was expanding into Australia.
