Power management vendor Eaton has appointed Andrew Khan as country manager for New Zealand.

Based in Auckland, Khan has been leading the brand, sales and operations for the Eaton power quality channel since December 2018.

Khan joins from Ingram Micro where he spent the last 11 years having worked with key hardware and software vendors to deliver annual sales of $68 million, while executing growth and expansion channel strategies for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

"My vision for the new role is to use my sales and marketing experience to grow Eaton’s business in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands and to ensure it is sustainably developed through these strategic channel partners."

John Atherton, Eaton general manager power quality A/NZ, said Khan has a strong connection to the IT industry in New Zealand which will be critical as he supports Eaton’s growing channel business in 2019.

"His passion for building and maintaining relationships, and creating engaging marketing programs, will be important as Eaton focuses on strengthening our channel service and support to our valued partners," Atherton said.

Khan replaced Stefan Buerki who left the business after 16 years.
