New Zealand network recording and analytics company Endace is partnering with IBM to integrate its network probes with IBM Security.
The EndaceProbe network analytics platform captures, indexes, and stores high-speed network traffic while also hosting network security and performance monitoring applications in the systems's hosting environment.
The new application is freely available through the IBM Security App Exchange, a marketplace where developers can create applications based on IBM Security technologies.
“Corporate networks are more vulnerable than ever to an accelerating volume of threats, and security analysts need to understand what’s happened with a threat to accelerate security investigation and response,” said Stuart Wilson, CEO of Endace.
EndaceProbe uses IBM's QRadar security intelligence platform, which analyses data across an organisation’s IT infrastructure in real-time to identify potential security threats.
Using QRadar’s open application programming interfaces (API), EndaceProbe allows Endace and IBM customers to better understand and respond to, network events, including everything from anomalous behaviour to insider and advanced threats.
Founded in 2001, Endace is privately owned and partners with alliance vendors such as Cisco, BluVector, Palo Alto Networks and Splunk, in addition to Dynatrace, Darktrace, Gigamon and Ixia.
