Fujitsu has expanded its team across New Zealand, recruiting Ross Robertson, Jason Luke and Phil Wesley-Brown as part of a triple hiring spree.

Specifically, the technology provider has appointed Robertson - starting 24 July - as business development manager with a responsibility for the delivery and execution of the NetApp business across New Zealand.

Previously at Huawei, Robertson has also held roles across the wider channel, following stints at Westcon Group, ADT and Insight.

“Ross brings energy and enthusiasm to the role and we look forward to helping our customers leverage their data through our close partnership with NetApp,” Fujitsu New Zealand general manager of sales Mike Bullock said via social media.

In addition, Luke joins the Fujitsu business on 9 August as the company’s new senior licensing specialist, moving across from Dimension Data.

Having started out in operations at Open2view, Luke joined Ingram Micro in 2012 to develop the Adobe and Autodesk portfolios, before helping to grow the Microsoft account until 2015.

“Jason comes with a very strong software licensing background and brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and relationships that will be help our customers get the most from their software investments,” Bullock added.

Completing the triple hire is Wesley-Brown, who joins on 1 August as a solution sales specialist for enterprise applications and digital projects.

Following management roles at PMP Limited, Vodafone New Zealand and Acresta, Wesley-Brown launched The Mobility Consulting Group in December 2016, providing professional services specialising in digital and mobility solutions.

“Phil has been the general manager of several digitally focused start-ups and has a very strong background with helping customers mobilise and digitally transform their businesses,” Bullock added.
