OneNet has announced its participation in the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider program (CSP), allowing the company to provide direct billing, sell combined offers and services, as well as directly provision, manage and support Microsoft cloud offerings.

Terms of the Direct CSP program will see OneNet address business IT needs across productivity, infrastructure and CRM with Office 365, Microsoft Intune, Enterprise Mobility Suite, Microsoft Azure and CRM Online.

“We’ve been helping clients assess their cloud options for over 16 years and in the last 12 months are seeing a huge increase in serious adoption of public cloud technologies such as Office 365 and Azure,” OneNet general manager, Roman Paljk, said.

“Joining the CSP program allows us to build stronger relationships with our clients and provide them with the best cloud solutions to propel their business.”

Effectively immediately, Paljk said OneNet now owns the complete client lifecycle, allowing the Auckland-based business to sell Microsoft cloud services while owning the entire billing process and directly managing support.

To achieve Direct status, Paljk said OneNet had to demonstrate strong capabilities across four areas: its services business model, scale, support services and infrastructure, and clear, customer-focused invoicing.

OneNet has joined the program as a Direct partner, which includes partners with broad market reach, a 24 x 7 technical support relationship with customers as well as direct ownership of the billing.

“Through the CSP program, we work closely with our hosting partners to deliver flexible solutions that combine Microsoft technologies with partner expertise and services,” Microsoft hosting partner account manager, John Wiltshire, added.

“This opens up massive opportunities for partners to package their solutions with Microsoft cloud offerings and provides clients with a custom roadmap to the cloud.”

OneNet was established when the clouds were just forming 16 years ago, created to focus on building private cloud solutions.

Since 2000, OneNet has had a cloud and mobile strategy that has evolved in time, with the company currently advising some of the largest organisations in New Zealand on how best to leverage the opportunity presented by cloud computing.

“OneNet’s AaaS (Azure as a Service) Cloud solution, powered by Azure and facilitated by our membership in the Microsoft CSP program, enable us to help clients evolve their data centre to embrace the flexibility of cloud,” Paljk added.

“This also drives down costs with tried and tested private, public, hybrid and co-location cloud solutions delivering anything from a test environment to backup or disaster recovery right through to seasonal workload bursting or even a full blown private AaaS data centre.”
