Exeed has appointed Matt Rummel as its New Zealand Director of Sales, responsible for driving the distributor’s business across both commercial and retail sales channels.
Based in Auckland, Rummel is also charged with overall responsibility for Exeed’s sales operations and pre sales organisation following strong local growth.
Reporting to Justin Tye, Exeed’s Managing Director, one of the key components of Rummel’s role will be growing Exeed’s presence and market position in new categories such as Cloud-delivered annuity business and in growth agencies such as those in the networking and security portfolio.
“We are excited about Matt’s appointment, he has proved himself to be a great Sales Manager in his time with the Exeed commercial sales team,” Tye said.
“I am delighted that Matt has accepted this position, this will allow me to focus more on the development of Exeed’s strategy and on other aspects of Exeed’s business.
“I also believe he will be an asset to our retail business unit, which has grown significantly under Veronica Datson’s leadership. Matt’s retail experience will provide valuable support to Veronica and her team.”
Rummel joined Exeed in 2012 and prior to this he was the National Business Manager at Harvey Norman NZ and held senior sales positions at Panasonic.
