Samsung Electronics New Zealand has today announced the launch of the Samsung Smart MultiXpress Printer series.
The Samsung Smart MultiXpress series of MFDs are the first printers from Samsung to be equipped with the Android operating system in the what the tech company is billing a “marriage of tablets and printers.”
“Users should be able to customise their printers because every office is different and making them as easy to use as our smartphones,” says Verdon Kelliher, Enterprise Director, Samsung New Zealand.
“That is the thinking behind Samsung’s world first printers with an Android-based interface – bringing great user experiences for printers as well.”
Kelliher says the new range boasts six multi-function device (MFD) printer models that are now available in the New Zealand market.
“The paradigm of the printing market is now shifting into the new era of enterprise mobility,” he adds.
“Digital convergence, digitisation, mobile/cloud collaboration and security will be the next innovations in the printing market.
“Samsung’s new A3 line-up is driven by our cutting-edge technologies that deliver ultra-fast speed, professional-quality output and an intuitive Android based tablet user interface.”
Kelliher says Samsung Business is “committed to driving productivity” via Samsung’s smart office experience, a move Kelliher believes will “revolutionise” the way IT administrators and New Zealand enterprises use and manage their printers.
