Veeam targets channel expansion following regional VP hire

Veeam Software has appointed Julian Quinn as Vice President for Asia and Japan, with the industry veteran set to initiate the company's ambitious regional expansion plans.

In this role, Quinn will be responsible for driving Veeam’s sales growth and overseeing the company’s regional expansion strategy.

Specifically, Quinn will be tasked with solidifying Veeam’s presence in Greater China and Hong Kong, growing Veeam’s presence further in Thailand and Malaysia, and enhancing the team in Singapore to meet the increasing demands of the Always-OnTM Business.

Quinn will report to Daniel Fried, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Field Marketing at Veeam.

“Julian’s extensive experience in working with enterprise customers, developing strategic partnerships to build a wide network of channel partners throughout Asia will be a huge asset to expanding our presence across the region,” says Daniel Fried, Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Field Marketing, Veeam.

In his previous role, Quinn was responsible for leading Adobe’s operations throughout Asia and expanding their presence throughout South East Asia, Greater China, Korea, India, Australia and New Zealand over a six year period, achieving remarkable and impressive growth during his tenure.

Prior to this, he held senior positions in a variety of leading technology companies including Borland Asia Pacific, BEA South Asia, Netscape Australasia, Novell and Unisys.
