New Zealand-based Software as a Service vendor, Psoda has become a preferred tenderer for the Australian Government Cloud Services Panel through its business partner Merewyn Partners.
As one of the first 49 companies selected to be on the whole-of-government cloud services panel, the appointment will enable both state and federal government entities and agencies to deploy Psoda’s software through the government’s ICT Procurement Portal.
Merewyn Partners first helped launch Psoda into the Australian market three years ago with this latest move the next step in the company’s aggressive expansion plan for the region.
Don Easter, Sales and Marketing Manager, Merewyn Partners says the small challenger SaaS vendor is making a competitive play for the Australian finance and government sectors.
“The brainchild of a rocket scientist and an ISO27001 auditor, Psoda’s appointment follows the launch of their unique and highly competitive project, program, and portfolio management (PPM) platform into Macquarie Telecom's Tier 3 data centre, Intellicentre 2 late last year,” Easter says.
“Psoda’s licencing model can save large organisations significant amounts of money when compared to traditional on-premises PPM solutions.
“It’s an exciting time for the young, dynamic company and we’re thrilled to be on the frontline with them enabling them to make this advancement.”
Bruce Aylward, CEO of Psoda, says the business is looking to grow its presence in the Australian government and enterprise sectors.
“We already have a number of government clients in New Zealand and see the Australian government sector as our next big target,” he says.
“We’ve previously experienced high demand for our software, however the roadblocks encountered during the tender process were so extensive that we felt we had to seek out other avenues to continue our growth.

Alyward says Psoda’s cloud-based Program / Project Management software is the only software globally that manages the end-to-end life-cycle of projects offering significant cost savings to organisations.
Psoda’s existing Australian clients include The Department of Transport NSW, Chandler McLeod, and the Australian Curriculum, Assessment, and Reporting Authority.
